PLEASE DONATE ITEMS TO PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Help expose more people to music they might not otherwise hear on radio and tv by donating CDs to public libraries. You can bypass tv/radio/media gatekeepers and directly reach the public. Please call and talk directly to these head librarians for info on donating CDs. Before you donate anything, insist that the librarian add your donated CDs and items into their interlibrary computer catalog so that people from other libraries can look up your CDs on their computers and make inter-library loans. Your donation to one library in their computer system will make that item accessible to all libraries in the system. Insist that the library never sell your donated CDs in any kind of fundraiser sale. Make the librarians promise you and give you their word they will add your CDs to their permanent collection. Make it clear that if they sold any of your CDs, you would stop donating anything to them again, tell your friends not to donate anything to them, and donate your CDs to another library instead.
The many library users check out and listen to everything because they are hungry for new things. Many people will check out and listen to your CDs for years to come. Visit these places in person to see how they are. Most people simply don't have the time and money to investigate everything; by donating items to these public libraries, you are reaching out to them. I do not work for any of these places.

DONATE CD's TO THESE PUBLIC LIBRARIES:
The 'kids' who go the school across the street constantly check out the CDs, so many different people will listen to your CDs for years to come. I do not work for any of these places.

DONATE VYNL RECORDS TO THESE PUBLIC LIBRARIES:
so that people can check out and listen to your vinyl records in the future also, this place has tons of OLD vinyl to check out. I do not work for any of these places.

DONATE YOUR MUSIC VIDEODISCS / LASERDISCS / DVDs TO THESE PUBLIC LIBRARIES:
These are good sources of Laserdics available for you to check out. Please donate any Laserdiscs you would like to share with others. I do not work for any of these places.

Notice: I just found out that the people at the Brand Library are selling off donated CDs and LPs at their fundraisers. The librarians promised the donors that they would not sell their donated items, then betrayed the donors. This is a shocking insult to many people, including myself, who've donated CDs to the librarian in the music section who promised he would not sell them. The purpose of donating CDs to libraries is to expose more people to new music, not for librarians to make money. If you have donated anything to the Brand Library and they promised you, as they did me, they would add to it their collection and not sell it, please call them and complain very very very loudly. I don't, and I'm sure you don't, appreciate being lied to and mislead when you are trying to help out fellow music fans and bands.
